REDUCE
REDUCE the number of set and props items used which will in turn REDUCE the cost of producing your item and REDUCE transport costs (if applicable).

REUSE
What sets, props and costumes do you already have at school? How can they be REUSED or modified for use in your performance? What household/classroom items can be REUSED for sets, props and costumes e.g. small drama blocks, school chairs/desks, A4 photocopy paper boxes, computer boxes, clothing, uniforms, feather dusters, plastic shopping bags, sheets, broom handles, egg cartons, ladders…the list goes on!

RECYCLE
Have a plan in place for what will happen to your sets, props and costumes after the performance…
• Which items will be deconstructed for RECYCLING?
• Which items will be stored for future reuse?
• Which items will be returned to their original use?
