ECO-ZONE PRIZE WINNERS 2006

In each state, we encourage schools to be environmentally conscious and reward schools with the following two awards:
* Eco-Zone Award for Most Creative Reuse Of Steel/Aluminium Cans And/Or Plastic Bottles
* Eco-Zone Award for Most Environmentally Sound Creation Of Sets, Props and Costumes
Our environmental partners of the Wakakirri National Story Festival proudly support the sustainable philosophy behind the event. Our Major Partner of the Eco-Zone program is PACIA - The Plastics and Chemicals Industry Association.
CEO of PACIA Michael Catchpole highlighted how impressed he was with the creativity of the students in reducing and reusing materials for their sets props and costumes.
